Safe Space With

A safe space to talk, reflect, and begin to process

About

About Neha

I’m Neha, a counsellor and psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I came into this work because I care about people’s stories - how much we carry silently, how life can feel overwhelming at times, and how important it is to have a space where you don’t have to hold everything together.

You can share as much or as little as feels right for you, and I’ll be here to support you through it. There’s no pressure to get it “right” or to explain things perfectly.

In our sessions, we go at your pace. My focus is on creating a space that feels steady, respectful, and human - where you can begin to make sense of things in your own way.

Starting counselling can feel like a big step, but you don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. We start where you are.

Approach

How I work

My approach is integrative, which means I draw from different therapeutic models depending on what feels most helpful for you as an individual.

01

Person-centred therapy

A space built on empathy, acceptance, and non-judgement. Working with the understanding that every person experiences the world differently, and proving support to explore and reconnect with what feels most authentic to you.

02

Attachment theory

Exploring how early relationships and experiences may influence the ways you relate to yourself and others today, including recurring patterns in relationships and emotional responses.

03

Cognitive behavioural approaches

Gently noticing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours, and where helpful, working towards more balanced and supportive ways of thinking.

04

Compassion-focused therapy

Supporting the development of self-compassion, especially where there is self-criticism, shame, or difficulty being kind toward yourself.

05

Trauma-informed practice

Approaching sessions safely and at your pace - prioritising stability, grounding, and emotional containment where needed.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Some people need space to talk and feel heard, others prefer more structure and practical tools, and many need a combination of both. We will have open conversations about what feels most helpful for you, and adapt our work together as we go.
